- FRIENDS plan and support First Wednesday concerts.
- FRIENDS support Children’s programs.
- FRIENDS contribute to the purchase of books, magazines, newspapers and other extras for the branch.
- FRIENDS hold spring, summer and winter book sales as well as periodic $5.00/bag sales. They also have ½-price fiction sales the last week of each month.
- FRIENDS staff the Book Nook where quality books are received, sorted and sold at bargain prices.
- FRIENDS offer five books at half price every Friday to Friends members.
- FRIENDS schedule talks by local authors.
Friends added 100 new members in 2014 in celebration of the 100th birthday of the library. We invite you to keep this number growing!
