Calling all book lovers! We invite you to celebrate the joy of reading by attending our end-of-summer book sale on Saturday, August 15th in the Book Nook, the Community Room and the library deck.  You will find some wonderful bargains, as everything will be half-price, including books, videos, CDs and puzzles. Hours for the sale are 10:00 to 3:00 for the general public, and 9:00 to 3:00 for members of the Friends. All proceeds go to support the library and its programs. Join the Friends of the Library for $10 per year and enter our sales an hour before the general public, and also receive up to five books for half price on Fridays all year long.

The Friends’ Book Group will be meeting on August 20th at 10:00 am to discuss this month’s selection, The Berry Pickers by Amanda Peters.  We usually meet in the library Community Room but occasionally at other locations, so email us at bookgroup@friendscardifflibrary.org if you want to come.
